Hereford XC Season Preview 2022

The Hereford girls and boys teams come into the 2022 XC season with big goals in mind.  The Hereford girls won the 2021 2A state meet while the boys finished sixth in the 2A state meet.  The girls team has had a dominant run over the past decade winning 7 of 10 state titles.  While not as recent, the boys have won two titles in the past decade (2011, 2012), however, the Hereford Boys won last year’s JV Baltimore County championships, and they hope to use that as a launching pad for this season.

On the girls side, the bulls return Estelle Snider, Sylvia Snider, and Rebekka Hillier among others, and they add seniors Hadley Sweeney and Megan Warrenfeltz to the mix, who were injured last season.

The boys return Liam McCue and Jack Nicholson.  Jake Weakland has plenty of experience and he will add depth to the squad.

Below are some runners from the team who talk about their season goals.
