This season has been really solid. We are so grateful to be back and racing normally. Everyone has adjusted really well being back, and this season has been about enjoying togetherness and working hard. We have had some good performances so far with our Men’s team placing 2nd and our Women’s team placing 1st at The Meet of Champions back in September. We followed that up with strong performances at the Louisville Classic/Pre Nat race early October. Our last meet before Championship season was the Border Battle at Rowan where our women placed first and Men 3rd.
Â
Like many teams, we always have a goal to take home the conference trophy on both Men’s and Women’s teams. I think both teams have the potential to do so this year, and competition will certainly be tough. We are looking forward to competitive races next week and most importantly grateful to race in our first XC championship since 2019!
