On November 20, 2021, for the seventh time in the past nine championship meets, the Johns Hopkins women’s cross country team won their seventh national title. That seventh championship ties them for the most all-time in Division III Cross Country. In this past year’s race, the Blue Jays battled until the finish line to earn their title. Down by 78 points early on at the first kilometer, the Blue Jays fought to take over the lead for the first time at four kilometers. Maintaining their composure, the Hopkin’s women held on for a two point victory. Â
The Blue Jays continue their tradition of success under the guidance of Bobby Van Allen. In addition to their national titles, the Blue Jays have won both their Conference and Region title thirteen straight years. Â
