Race Day Details

The IAAM XC Champs will be at the Baltimore County Ag Center on Tuesday, October 26, with the Varsity race starting at 4 p.m and the JV race starting at 4:45 p.m. Â Parking is scarce, so get there early, but save me a spot. Â Carpooling is suggested.

The Course

The course is challenging.

Elevation: Â 276 feet of total elevation change

The 1st Mile starts downhill, but a little after the half mile, there is an incline. Â Rounding the 1 mile marker, there is a steep climb, then you turn right to run along mostly single track grass. Â The footing is more difficult in the second mile. Â There is a second steep hill about 1.67 miles in. Â Entering the 3rd mile is a downhill. Â When you turn right where the 1 mile mark is you enter along the same path you came up. Â That is downhill, but you finish the race on an uphill.
