Clark Performance Coaching Training Session

Coach Clark regularly has meet up sessions throughout the year with athletes.  This training session took place near the end of summer as the high school season quickly approaches.

This session in particular was 3-4 x 1 mile at tempo/threshold pace with 1-3 minutes rest.  Athletes then completed 3-4 x 180 strides.

Included in this training session are two up and coming Division I runners and two rising seniors at Maryland schools.  Both of these individuals look to lead their teams to state titles this fall.

Especially over summer, Coach Clark prescribes consistent tempo sessions coupled with regular year round speed development, as that facet of training can often be neglected.
